A long lasting lemon

If you only need a few drops of lemon juice you do not need to cut it into halves. Just stick it with a large needle.

To preserve a half lemon, turn it up-side-down on a saucer and cover it with a glass.

Lime keeps better than lemon: it dries up. Even old its juice is still good.
