Prepare all the ingredients.
Combine the 16°-syrup with the glucose (optional).
Bring to a boiling point...
...and pour on the sliced almonds.
Let it soak for 2 hours.
Preheat your oven at 200°C (392°F). Drain the almonds and put them on a baking sheet.
Put in the warm oven to caramelize the almonds. Stir frequently.
Let it brown on all sides.
Put them on baking paper
Spread on the sheet and separate the almonds form one another...
...and let it cool down. Keep in a sealed plastic container.
