Ingredients for Blinis with Tarama Cream :

  • 16 ready to use mini-blinis or to prepare using this recipe
  • 200 g tarama
  • 100 g smoked salmon
  • 1 or 2 lemons
  • 2 slices of sandwich bread
  • 10 cl peanut oil
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons cream (15% milk fat)

Technical stages for Blinis with Tarama Cream :

  • Remove the crust of the sandwich bread.
  • Place the center in the bowl, add the cream and mix using a fork.
  • Press the lemons.
  • Place the tarama in the bowl of the food processor.
  • Add the bread and 2 tablespoons of lemon juice.
  • Mix the ingredients, then pour the 2 oils little by little.
  • When the cream is thick and homogeneous, add pepper and taste, then adjust to taste with the juice of the lemon.
  • Pour this cream in a pan and leave to rest at least 2 hours in the fridge.
  • A minute before serving, place the blinis on a baking sheet and heat them for a few minutes in a warm oven.
  • Roughly chop the smoked salmon using a knife and add it to the tarama cream.
  • Spread this cream on blinis and place them on a serving dish.
