Ingredients for Figs in Cream :

  • 8 ripe figs
  • 4 tablespoons sugar
  • 300 g chantilly

Technical stages for Figs in Cream :

  • Preheat the oven at 200°C or 392°F.
  • Using a knife, cut the figs stem down to 1 cm (0,39 inch) so as to see the red inside of the fruit.
  • Put them in a baking dish and sprinkle with sugar.
  • Bake for 10 minutes. They should start caramelizing. From then on be very careful, as the sugar must caramelize but not burn.
  • Take out of the oven and let cool.
  • BEfore serving, coat the figs with chantilly, leaving them in the baking dish.
