Cake "Mymiche"

Cake "Mymiche"
  • For : 8 to 10 servings

For this recipe, you need :

  • 200 g sugar
  • 1 litre milk
  • 5 eggs
  • Vanilla flan powder (bought at the supermarket)
  • 150 g raisins
  • 1 day old bread (still soft)
  • Vanilla bourbon essence

Technical Stages :

  • cremer the eggs along with sugar.
  • Add the Vanilla Flan powder (i.e. the value of 1/2 litre finished preparation). Mix.
  • Add the cold milk, raisins and vanilla bourbon.
  • Add the day old bread cut in pieces.
  • Mix well.
  • Leave the pieces of bread to soak in the vanilla juice for an hour.
  • Pour the preparation in a slightly greased rectangular mold.
  • Bake at 180°C for 30 minutes.
  • When finished, leave to cool.
  • Cut portions and serve with a crème anglaise.
  • Nota: This cake bears also the name of "Mymiche Cake" in
  • reference to their authors.
