Ice Creams & Sherbets

Alcoholized Ice Cream
  • For : 1.5 litre
  • Time : 55 minutes
  • Difficulty : easy

For this recipe, you need :

  • 7.5 dl water
  • 400 g sugar
  • 20 g glucose (optional)
  • 20 cl alcohol or 30 cl of any liqueur of your choice
  • 1 lemon juice
  • 50 g italian meringue

Technical Stages :

  • Prepare a syrup with the water, sugar and glucose.
  • Bring to a boiling point for 5 minutes, until the whole sugar dissolved.
  • Add the alcohol and lemon juice.
  • At last, add the italian meringue.
  • Put it in an ice cream machine to turn the mix into an actual ice cream.
  • Keep in the freezer.
