Ingredients for Kourabies Sanda :

  • 250 g butter
  • 150 g ground almonds
  • 100 g sugar
  • 300 g flour
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 package vanillated sugar

Technical stages for Kourabies Sanda :

  • Whisk the butter and sugar until pale and foamy. Add the vanillated sugar.
  • Add the ground almonds and flour.
  • Mix with your hands in order to obtain a smooth and firm dough.
  • Form small balls, about 2-3 cm (0,79-1,18 inches) diameter, and shape them into moons.
  • Bake in warm oven at 150°C or 302°F. Remove from the oven when slightly brown.
  • Sprinkle with sugar powder before eating them.
