Ingredients for Mille-Feuilles :

  • Puff pastry
  • custard
  • white icing
  • coffee extract

Technical stages for Mille-Feuilles :

  • the puff pastry and pierce it using a fork or a docker.
  • Place it between 2 greased baking sheets so that it will remain flat and regular during cooking.
  • Repeat this operation with another pastry and bake at 180°C for 25 minutes. When finished, leave them to cool on a cooling rack.
  • Cut the baked pastries into 3 equal parts using a sawing knife. These rolled out pastries will be the 3 layers of pastry necessary to build the mille-feuilles
  • Spread the custard on the bottom of baked pastry using a metal spatula.
  • Place a second layer of baked pastry on top . It can made of 2 or 3 pieces as shown on the video.
  • Spread a second layer of custard and finally the last rolled out baked pastry.
  • the top with white icing and finish with a marble effect using a cone with the rest of icing flavored with coffeee extract.
  • Once finished, the 4 sides of the cake to make it nicer and store in the fridge until serving.
