For this recipe, you need :

  • puff pastry
  • powdered sugar
  • 1 egg yolk

Technical Stages :

  • Roll out the puff pastry on the counter. Brush away all excess flour.
  • Glaze with a brush and sprinkle with sugar.
  • Fold the dough, bringing the top side to the middle of the bottom side.
  • Glaze again and sprinkle with sugar. Fold.
  • You should obtain a strip.
  • Glaze with egg yolk and coat with sugar. Cut 1 cm-thick 0,39 inch) pieces.
  • Alternate on a slightly greased baking sheet.
  • Bake in warm oven (180/200°C or 356/392°F).
  • Let it bake until completely baked and golden.
  • When finished, remove from the baking sheet with a metal spatula and leave to cool.
