Sweet Dough
  • Time : 15 minutes
  • Difficulty : easy

For this recipe, you need :

  • 250 g flour
  • 100 g butter
  • 100 g icing sugar
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 egg
  • vanilla extract

Technical Stages :

  • Mix the butter and icing sugar with a wooden spoon until homogeneous.
  • Add the egg and keep mixing. This is what is called a "crémé".
  • Add the flour, salt and vanilla extract. Mix and knead into a ball.
  • Press the dough with your hands to homogeneize it. Let it sit in the fridge for 30 minutes at least.
  • NOTE:
  • Do not overknead the dough or it will become too fragile.
