Technical stages for Smoked Salmon Pasta :
- Cut the smoked salmon in strips. Mix them in a plate with the cream.
- Put this plate on a boiling in order to heat up the mix.
- Cut the basil leaves and mix them with 2 tablespoons oil. Add this basil oil to the cream mix.
- Cook the pasta in a large pot of salted water with 1 spoon oil, for 4 to 6 minutes according to your taste (al dente or not).
- Drain and pour in the plate. Mix well. Add pepper, mix again and serve warm.
- SLIM VERSION :
- Use light cream.
- Use chopped basil rather than basil oil.
- A very balanced dish :
- proteins and omega 3 from the salmon
- proteins and glucids from the pasta
- low level of lipids, but insaturated fatty acids.
