Ingredients for Potatoes Boulangères 2 :

  • 1 kg potatoes
  • 400 g onions
  • 40 g butter
  • 2 tablespoons peanut oil
  • 1/2 litre broth
  • salt
  • pepper

Technical stages for Potatoes Boulangères 2 :

  • Peel and the onions, slice the potatoes.
  • Saute separately in a mix of butter and oil for ten minutes. Add salt and pepper.
  • Preheat the oven at 200°C or 392°F.
  • Drain the potatoes and onions on paper towels.
  • In a gratin dish, alternate layers of each. Cover with broth.
  • Bake for 25 minutes at 200°C or 392°F, then lower to 180°C or 356°F and bake 20 more minutes.
