Pork with Ginger Sauce

Ingredients for Pork with Ginger Sauce :

  • 1.2 pork back
  • 1 big piece of ginger
  • 4 medium-sized onions
  • 6 garlic cloves
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1 thyme sprig
  • oil

Technical stages for Pork with Ginger Sauce :

  • Cut the meat in very small pieces.
  • Mince the onions. Crush together the salt, pepper and garlic.
  • Peel the ginger and mince it to a julienne.
  • Cook the meat for a few minutes in oil. Add the onions and the crushed mix, stir well.
  • Add the thyme and let sweat over medium heat for 5 minutes.
  • Add then the ginger and cook over very low heat for 40 minutes.
  • If it turns too dry, add a bit of warm water.
  • Serve with creole rice.
