Prepare all the ingredients.
In a stockpan, heat a bit of oil.
onions and diced tomatoes.
Cook for a few minutes.
Add the chicken cut into 10 or 12 pieces.
Leave to simmer 5 minutes.
Meanwhile, cut the carrots and green bell pepper in medium pieces.
Add to the chicken: 1/4 litre water...
...and chopped vegetables.
Mix and cook for about 10 minutes.
Add salt, pepper and the shrimp powder.
In a frying pan, heat a bit of oil.
Add the plaintains cut in large pieces.
Fry for a few minutes.
Add the plaintains that were previously drained to the chicken.
Mix.
Leave to cook covered another 10 minutes.
Add the cube of chicken stock.
Mix thoroughly.
