  • 6 thick salmon steaks
  • 60 g butter
  • 50 cl crème fraîche
  • 1 bay leaf
  • a couple of lemon slices
  • salt
  • pepper

Technical stages for Salmon Steaks with Cream :

  • Pat dry the salmon steaks with paper towels and season with salt and pepper. Butter a gratin dish large enough to hold all slices in one layer. Add the cream in large enough quantities to cover the fish, put the bay leaf in the center and cover with aluminium foil.
  • Put in a preheated oven at 180°C or 356°F and bake for 20 minutes, adding a bit more cream if necessary.
  • Serve in the baking dish, decorating with lemon slices.
