Apple Pie Alsacienne

For this recipe, you need :

  • 200 g shortcrust pastry
  • 5 to 6 apples
  • 150 g liquid cream
  • 75 g flour
  • 150 g sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • vanilla sugar
  • icing sugar

Prepare all ingredients:

Make a shortcrust pastry. Store in the fridge.

In a bowl, cremer the eggs with the sugar.

Add the flour...

...and the cream last. Add a bit of vanilla sugar to flavor the preparation.

Roll out the shortcrust pastry...

...and line a fluted silicone tart mold.

Peel, seed and cut the apples in quarters.

Place them on the base of the shortcrust pastry.

Coat the apples with the mixture that was previousely obtained.

Bake in hot oven 180°C for 30 to 40 minutes.

When finished, remove the tart from the oven...

... and leave to cool a bit before unmolding.

Sprinkle with icing sugar just before serving.
