Prepare all the ingredients.
the puff pastry. Prick with a fork.
With a 12 to 15 cm (4,72 to 5,91 inches) in diameter cardboard frame, cut puff pastry circles.
Put on a baking sheet. Count one pastry circle per serving.
Prepare the following ingredients: apple, sugar, butter.
Peel, halve and seed the apples. in thin slices.
Put the apples in a rosette pattern on the pastry.
Finish the middle part with a few slices.
Sprinkle with brown sugar and put a knob of butter in the middle.
Bake in warm oven at 180-200°C (356-392°F).
The pastry rises slightly and the apples start to caramelize.
When finished, put in the middle of a large plate.
Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream in the middle of the warm pie.
Decorate with a fresh mint leave and a piece of vanilla pod to make it look like the stem and leaf of an apple.
