Technical stages for Almond Tiles :
- Mix the flour, sugar and salt. Add the egg whites and butter. Whisk into a homogeneous mix.
- Add the sliced almonds. Mix thoroughly with a wooden spatula. Bake on a greased baking sheet. Spread a spoonful on the sheet. Using a fork dipped in milk, spread in a fine round shape. Avoid leaving gaps.
- Bake in a warm oven at 180°C or 356°F until golden.
- Remove from the sheet with a metal spatula and mold in semi-circles using a semi-cylindrical tube (you can also use a rolling pin, a bottle, or any kind of cylinder..).
- Leave to cool and keep in a sealed box.
