Candied Citrus Zests
  • For : your decorations
  • Time : 45 minutes
  • Difficulty : easy

For this recipe, you need :

  • 2 lemons or oranges
  • 250 g sugar
  • 12 cl water

Technical Stages :

  • Cut the citrus zests. Blanch them for 5 minutes in boiling water.
  • On the side, prepare a syrup with sugar and water. Add the blanched zests and cook over very low heat for 30 minutes. They must be tender and translucent.
  • Drain and lay down to cool them.
  • Roll in powdered sugar and let dry overnight.
